Heal The World

Like what I have said, I am not into pop or other genre aside from emo and rock music but I love some of Michael Jackson's songs which indeed marked to each and everyone of us. Last night, I heard his song Heal The World sang by various artists which is dedicated to the people of Haiti. We all know that Haiti faced a tragic event when earthquake occurred in their place killing thousands of people. Various artists joined forces together to create as one, a symbol of peace and unity to the whole world. Despite of the issues regarding Michael Jackson, I believe he leaved his signature even after his death in a way people can't forget him. Michael Jackson is not just an artist, dancer, singer, songwriter, musician but he is a symbol of unity. I know even if he's dead, his memory will still remain to the heart of every person who loves him.

When The Lights Die

Boyce Avenue is one of the famous acoustic bands all over the world. Actually this band started to recognize in youtube. I believe this band is one of the most searched band in youtube with over 300 million viewers and counting.

I love the clean and smooth voice of their vocalist Alejandro Manzano. Most of their covers were revivals but gave each song a good rendition and arrangement of music. I have some of their songs in my playlist and I love to listen to it over and over again.

Last night, I watched their new music video entitled When The Lights Die from their album All We Have Left where they showed their different side. It's quite different from their early songs which was purely acoustic and revivals. This time it's some kinda alternative rock and original. I thought they really showed their artistic craft in their new album which I believe better than the previous songs.

The Black Parade

I wear black shirts and I do have one sided hair but I am not emo who cut my wrists or attempt to commit suicide. I just love to listen to emotional songs where I can relate to the lyrics. I don't like listening to “screamos”, the combination of screaming and emotional song, because you will only hear screams from the beginning until the end of the song (except if you will read the lyrics, you will understand what it is all about).

One of my favorite bands is My Chemical Romance. Their lyrics are so deep but everything comes from the heart. Every time they release a new album, I don't miss the chance to buy even if it's expensive. I love their song Helena, Black Parade and Teenagers. I also love their vocalist, Gerard Way especially in his video, My Black Parade. I wish I could see them in person and have an autograph with  them.

Perfect

Simple Plan is one of my favorite pop punk bands. I love their song perfect because it keeps me from thinking about my dad. I would sometimes cry for a moment every time I hear this song remembering my dad. I wanted to be a perfect child for him and every thing that he says, I always follow it even though it's against my will. I want to do the things in my own way but dad would simply disagree with my decisions because he believed he's always right and I'm wrong. It's like I was a prisoner unable to get out behind the bars. I wanted to have freedom and prove to him that I have my own life. Sometimes it keeps me from thinking if I was a perfect child for him because I follow all his commands but it wasn't enough at all. Dad I know that we're too far and we rarely talk but I hope that you're proud of me. I know you dreamed that I have to be a professional doctor but here I am now, taking pictures of every person with their smiles. I know being a simple photographer won't give me fortune but I'm happy being like this. The happiness that every person gives whenever I take pictures with them is already a memorable treasure for me. Dad, if you're reading this note write now, I hope you're still proud of me. Living a simple life with so much happiness is already enough for me and I hope someday, I can capture your smile. I love you dad!

What's Up This Panda?

Kung Fu Panda is one of the best movies I've ever seen. I have watched the part one of Kung Fu Panda and it was funny and inspiring. Po, the main character of the story who is an overweight and clumsy Panda showed his humor that made the movie interesting. I love his dedication to learn the techniques of Kung Fu and willingness to save his town from the evil leopard Tai Lung who wants vengeance.

I love the concept of the story for it has a lot of moral lessons. We all have dreams that we want to fulfill, but sometimes we are incapable of reaching it. Dedication and determination to succeed is the key to reach our goals in life. We all have our undiscovered potentials and remains a mystery to some who haven't discover it yet. Just like Po who wants to be a Kung Fu Fighter but doesn't have the skills and potential to be one, but with his dedication, he became a Kung Fu master and saved his town. We can all be like him if we want to. It only takes some time and a little patience to reach it.

I am craving to catch Kung Fu Panda 2 that is currently showing in cinemas, but due to financial constraints, I just have to watch it on the Internet. If someone out there who reads this blog and if you're willing to treat me, I would love to. Just inform me. ;)

Searching for the Perfect Scent

I watched another story last night though it's a 2006 movie. I was interested to watch it because I thought it's an interesting movie since it's unique than the other movies. This is a story of a gifted man who has an amazing olfactory sense where he can smell almost everything. Jean-Baptiste Grenouille is a perfume apprentice who wanted to create the best perfume in the world. He can smell almost all the scents around him but figured out that nobody has ever smelled his scent. He met Baldini who creates fragrances who became his teacher in making perfumes. But his dream turned into a dark creation where he murdered pure women in searching for a perfect scent. Until then he created the perfect perfume where the people were hypnotized by his scent. I love the story because of its essence. Maybe all of us have obsessions which we're craving to have but some will do dark intentions just to fulfill it. Watch this great movie!

We'll Be Alright

Let's skip emo and rock music for a while because I heard something that was good to my ears last night. Hiphop, Rap or Pop are not my choice of music but when I heard this pop-rap song, I thought of adding this to my compilation. He's not an emo or rock vocalist but his a cool rapper and his name is Travie Mccoy who popularized the song Billionaire with Bruno Mars. I'm not his avid fun but when I heard his song last night, I thought I had a last song syndrome. Anyway the song that I was trying to say is, “We'll Be Alright” which has a cool arrangement of music and meaningful lyrics. It says that we have to leave our insecurities that as if we own the world. We should enjoy our life to the fullest without worrying the outcome. Well, the song does not encourage people to freak out and go wild but I believe we all have freedom so we should enjoy it. I suggest that you listen to this song because I bet ya' love it.
